Gainesville grad Carnes leads Lady Saints to victory with 39 points

Gainesville High graduate Jaymee Carnes scored a game-high 39 points and had 14 rebounds for the North Georgia College & State University women's basketball team in a 73-70 victory against Newberry College on Friday.

Trio of Lady Saints recognized on All-Region team

Emily Dover of North Georgia College & State University's women's soccer team was named a First-Team All-Region selection in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. The Co-Peach Belt Conference Player of the Year was one of four first-team forwards from the Southeast. Dover scored a school-record 16 goals on the year and added five assists.
