Local golf: Miller wins at Chicopee Woods

The DPG played matches on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday this week at Chicopee Woods Golf Course. Dwight Miller finished first on Monday, James Roberts captured second and Dennis Jones came in third. Roberts finished first on Wednesday, Dave Jetter came in second and Steve Knowles got third. Bill Ingram captured first on Friday, Jetter came in second and Billy Corbin finished third.

Local golf: Shell, Miller and Kidd win at Chicopee Woods

Jerry Shell finished in first place on Monday in the first of three matches this week for the Dedicated Players Group at the Chicopee Woods Golf Club. Dennis Jones came in second on Monday and Dwight Miller and Jim Julian tied for third. Miller finished first on Wednesday, Doug Padgett came in second and Denis Jordan finished third. Bob Kidd came in first place on Friday, and Julian finished second.
