City Senior Golf Championship planned for Sept. 18 at Chattahoochee

The 2015 City Senior Championship will be held Sept. 18-19 at Chattahoochee Golf Club in Gainesville. The Championship is open to any amateur golfer over age 50 as of Sept. 18.

Local golf: CLGA golfers earn flight wins

The Chattahoochee Ladies Golf Association played a par 3 and 5 count event on Tuesday. It was a low gross and low net event. The first flight winners were Mona White in low gross and Martha Shell in low net. The second flight winners were Beulah Land in low gross and Kirsten Coleman in low net. Closest to pin winners were Carolyn Palmer (No. 3) and Martha Shell (No. 17).
