Gainesville High graduate Skyler Weber picked in 18th round of MLB Draft by Oakland Athletics

Gainesville High graduate Skyler Weber was picked in the 18th round (532 overall) by the Oakland Athletics during Saturday's third day of the MLB draft. As a junior, Weber hit .314 for four home runs and 33 RBIs as an outfielder and catcher for the University of Georgia. He finished the season with a .991 fielding percentage for the Bulldogs.
