Natives of Hall, Forsyth counties complete training

Air Force Airman Ashleigh R. Scienza, Airman Trevor A. Sellers and Airman Montrai D. Tate graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

Scienza is the daughter of James Scienza of Buford and Doreen Scienza of Flowery Branch. She is a 2010 Flowery Branch High School graduate.

Sellers, who earned distinction as an honor graduate, is the son of Michelle Lipham of Cumming and Chris Sellers of Clermont. He is a 2007 Forsyth Central High School graduate.

Tate is the son of Farrah Robertson of Gainesville and a 2012 Chestatee High School graduate.

The airmen completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
