Mid Life Crisis to rock crowd at Brenau

Proceeds to benefit Challenged Child and Friends group

Music will fill the air surrounding Brenau University’s amphitheatre on Saturday night as the band Mid Life Crisis rocks the college campus to benefit an area nonprofit.

Gates for the Rock in the Spring concert will open at 6 p.m. with rock ’n’ roll cover band Mid Life Crisis entertaining the crowd. Members includes lead vocalist and guitarist Allen Nivens, guitarists Mike Gottsman and Bill Hallowes, vocalists Michelle Alexander and Donna Hubbard, drummer Henry Troutman, bassist Karl Reising keyboardist Mike Haynes.

Attendants may also bid on items in a silent and live auction. Items up for bid are vacation packages, golf packages, jewelry and home items.

Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the gate. Advance tickets are available at Greens Grocery, 971 Riverside Drive, and Challenged Child and Friends, 2360 Murphy Blvd., in Gainesville.

Proceeds benefit the local school Challenged Child and Friends, which offers a tailored and integrated experience for children with developmental delays and disabilities learn and grow in a full-inclusion program with children who have typical development.

Parking is available all around Brenau’s campus.
