Your Views: More lies from the White House over voting case investigations

POSTED: April 18, 2014 1:00 a.m.

Here we go again, folks. A couple days ago, President Barack Obama spoke to an Al Sharpton audience spewing more lies that the GOP is trying to stop people from voting by requiring them to show an ID. Lie, lie, lie.

He never mentioned the woman who voted six times for him, nor the thugs who stood at a voting precinct to intimidate voters. He calls voting fraud claims “bogus.” Another lie. He claims the Justice Department has investigated more than 100 cases since 2009. Lie. The Justice Department’s own website says 39 cases have been investigated. Only 13 relate to protecting minority voting rights.

Remember 2010 and 2012 when the prison inmates in Vermont had a higher voting rate than our military personnel serving overseas? Of course, the audience was so used to hearing lies, they thought nothing of Obama’s lies.

I hope all of you who voted on a Democratic ballot the last two voting cycles got the change you voted for, because you must hate this country as much as Obama does. This has woken me up to the fact we have more people in this country who vote in order to stay on welfare and government handouts by the Democratic Party than I thought. If the Democrats like Harry Reed, Nancy Pelosi, Barbara Boxer, and others remain in Washington, I hate to think what our younger generations will have to face.

The White House the last six plus years has been a shame and disgrace, with Obama seen as a joke by the rest of the world leaders and his wife flying all over the world and spending taxpayers’ money like there is no tomorrow. No first lady — and I use that word for the current one loosely — has ever spent so much money frivolously.

I am thoroughly ashamed for other countries to know we have so many people in this country with so little intelligence.
