Patrick and Brenda Burke of Gainesville announce the engagement of their daughter Jamie Marie Burke to Samuel Boyd Hilton, son of Bill and Carol Hilton of Buffalo, Wyo.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Bob and Marie Burke of Smyrna, Judy Hill of Spring, Texas, and Jack Hill of Houston.
She is a 2006 graduate of Chestatee High School in Gainesville.
The groom-elect is a 2003 graduate of Buffalo High School in Buffalo, Wyo. He graduated in 2007 from the University of Sioux in Sioux Falls, S.D., with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He is an Eagle Scout.
The couple plans to wed Dec. 1, 2007, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Suwanee.
