Roaring 1920s re-emerges Friday in Jackson County

The Roaring 20s will rise again Friday night in Jackson County as part of “The Great Catsby” gala at the Braselton-Stover House.

Presented by the Humane Society of Jackson County, the premier black-tie optional gala will feature a champagne reception with hors d’oervres, gourmet dining, dancing to a live jazz band, the Fly Cats, as well as silent auction, raffles and prizes. The bar will feature Prohibition-era cocktails. Commerce School of Dance and Jefferson Community Theatre Group will present A Roaring 20’s Review.

Participants are encouraged put on their dancin’ shoes and dress in the 1920s period before entering the password-protected event. (The password is a ticket.)
