High school scoreboard: March 21

Spencer Adams hit a two-run homer to power White County to a 14-4 win against East Hall on Friday in Cleveland.

The Warriors scored 12 runs in the fifth inning to come back from a 4-2 deficit, led by Adams’ 3-for-3 performance.

Joel Pritchett (3-0) struck out seven and allowed three hits for White County (11-0, 6-0 Region 7-AAA).

The Warriors visit Fannin County at 5:30 p.m. Monday in Blue Ridge.

WEST HALL 12, BANKS COUNTY 2: Cameron Johnson and Zack Collins each hit a home run for West Hall on Friday.

Cam Warner tallied three hits for the Spartans, and Will Simmons struck out 13 over six innings and earned three hits at the plate.

NORTH HALL 9, DAWSON COUNTY 0: Andrew Smith went 4 for 4 at the plate with a pair of RBIs for the Trojans on Friday in Gainesville.

Corbin Lewallen finished 2 for 3 with an RBI, and Matthew Cox was 3 for 3 with two RBIs.

Brandon Delong earned the win from the mound with six strikeouts and two hits over 6 2/3 innings.

North Hall visits Buford on Monday.

JEFFERSON TAKES DOUBLEHEADER: Dragon pitchers Micah Carpenter and Ethan Garner led Jefferson to 17-1 and 16-1 wins, respectively, on Friday in Social Circle.

Carpenter hit a pair of doubles in Game 1 and finished with three RBIs and three runs scored. Max Ford went 3 for 4 with a two-run double and two runs scored, and Trent Sorrells was 2 for 4 with three RBIs and a run scored.

In Game 2, Sorrells hit a three-run homer in the first inning for the Dragons, Alex Gaba hit a grand slam in the second inning, and Max Ford notched four RBIs on three singles.

Jefferson (12-3, 6-0 Region 8-AA) plays host to Rabun County on Tuesday in Tiger.

Soccer

GAINESVILLE GIRLS 4, WINDER-BARROW 1: Alyssa Turner notched two goals for the Lady Red Elephants on Friday in Gainesville.

Anna Youmans and Jazmin Penado each scored as well for Gainesville (10-0-1, 5-0 Region 8-AAAAA). Ashlie Gonzalez made five saves in goal.

The Lady Red Elephants play host to Forsyth Central on Tuesday in Gainesville.

GAINESVILLE BOYS 7, WINDER-BARROW 0: Roberto Nunez and Diego Porras scored three goals each to power the Red Elephants on Friday in Gainesville.

Christian Escaleria added a goal and an assist for Gainesville (8-1-1, 4-0 Region 8-AAAAA), and Ricardo Gomez had three assists. Cesar Regaldo had one assist.

The Red Elephants play host to Forsyth Central on Tuesday in Gainesville.

FLOWERY BRANCH GIRLS 2, DACULA 1: Julia Sienkiewicz tallied a goal and an assist for Flowery Branch on Friday.

Corrie Thomas scored the Lady Falcons’ first goal, and Kimy McNeil assisted Flowery Branch’s second goal.

The Lady Falcons (8-2-1) play host to Clarke Central on Tuesday in Flowery Branch.

Tennis

BUFORD GIRLS 5, NORTH HALL 0: Annalea Stevens, Bailey McCammon and Katie Quinn earned singles wins for the Lady Wolves on Thursday.

Savannah Whaley/Abbey Mitchell and Peyton Wolfe/Tamia Wayne won doubles matches for Buford (12-0).

RIVERSIDE MILITARY 5, WASHINGTON-WILKES 0: Josh Haughton/Daniel McHerron and Robert Butler/Armen Akhoyan both won 8-3 in doubles for the Eagles on Thursday in Washington.

Merritt Wilburn, Sipho Khoza and Andrew Eidson earned singles wins for Riverside Military (5-0, 4-0 Region 8-AA), which visits Social Circle on Tuesday.

Golf

WEST HALL TAKES TRI-MATCH: Dawson County’s Madison Coffee shot a 1-under par 35 as the low-medalist in a match between the Tigers, West Hall and Chestatee on Thursday at Chestatee Golf Club.

West Hall finished with a 154, ahead of Dawson County (163) and Chestatee (171).

LADY WARRIORS EARN WIN: Candler Kimsey carded a 39 to lead White County to a win against Habersham Central and Stephens County on Thursday at Apple Mountain Golf Club.

The Lady Warriors finished with a team score of 127 to beat Stephens County (146) and Habersham Central (147).
