GHS HOSA students compete at state

Gainesville High School’s Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) team had record numbers competing in regional competition. Several of them qualified to compete at the state leadership.

Students include: Hayen Reynolds and Ruth Vasquez in CPR & first aid, Elizabith Aguirre and Olympia Reyes in dental terminology, Guadalupe Aguaya in medical terminology, Jonathan Alvarado and Jackie Ong in medical law and ethics, Stacy Castaneda in transcultural healthcare, Ivan Gonzalez in human growth and development, Indira Islas in medical spelling, Mariana Latimer and Jay Patel in medical math and Cindy Puett in physical therapy.
