Events slated for Thursday night in Gainesville were canceled because of poor road conditions.

The concert featuring Holly and the Heartbreakers at Holly Theater in Dahlonega was canceled because of the weather conditions, too. However, the Saturday night performance at 8 p.m. is still set. Patrons with GTA tickets for canceled performances can exchange their tickets to any performance through Feb. 22 by calling 678-717-3624 or emailing leslie.vinson@ung.edu.

Keynoting the event will be author Martha Ezzard, who will discuss how she and her physician husband, John, turned a North Georgia family farm into a successful winery. The free event will be from 6-8 p.m. March 20 as part of the university’s Sense & Sustainability lecture series.
