High school scoreboard: Jan. 17

Bridgette Kelly put up 23 points for the Chestatee girls in a 50-39 victory against Eastside on Friday in Gainesville, keeping them undefeated in Region 8-AAAA.

Kayla Watson contributed nine points for the Lady War Eagles (16-3, 4-0 Region 8-AAAA), and Savanna Long had seven.

Chestatee visits Walnut Grove on Tuesday in Loganville.

JOHNSON BOYS 105, LANIER 88: James Hodges racked up 38 points and grabbed six rebounds for the Knights on Friday in Sugar Hill.

Ty Cockfield notched 22 points and four assists for Johnson (14-3, 8-0 Region 8-AAAA), and Justin Jones had 16 points and four assists. Carter Cagle recorded 16 points, and Drew Dunham finished with 10 points and six assists.

The Knights face Buford in the BCB MLK Classic at Berkmar High at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Norcross.

BANKS COUNTY GIRLS 58, NORTH HALL 49: Kaitlyn Duncan paced the Lady Leopards with 16 points on Friday in Homer.

Casey Turner knocked down four 3-pointers for 12 total points for Banks County (12-4, 4-3 Region 7-AAA), and Shelby Parson scored 11 points off the bench. Lauren Carter added 10 for the Lady Leopards.

For North Hall, Sydney Cleveland scored a game-high 18 points. Katie Sayres notched 11, and Sadie Cleveland added 10.

Banks County plays host to White County at 5 p.m. Monday.

WHITE COUNTY GIRLS 39, WEST HALL 32: The Lady Warriors used a 14-point fourth quarter to secure the win on Friday in Cleveland.

Paige Thomas led White County (13-3, 5-2 Region 7-AAA) with 17 points and nine rebounds.

For West Hall (6-10, 0-7), Maia Booker notched 15 points.

The Lady Warriors visit Banks County on Monday in Homer, while the Lady Spartans play host to Fannin County on Tuesday in Oakwood.

WHITE COUNTY BOYS 77, WEST HALL 55: Maurice Sutton, Jordan Egerton and Juwan Dorsey each tallied 11 points for White County on Friday in Cleveland.

Spencer Adams added 10 for the Warriors, which visit Banks County on Monday.

For West Hall, Tyquan Statham and Mason Gaines led with 12 points apiece, and Deandre Peoples had 11.

HEBRON CHRISTIAN BOYS 73, LAKEVIEW ACADEMY 62: Tre Gober led the Lions with 19 points on Friday in Dacula.

Josh Randolph added 10 for Lakeview, and Tae Turner had eight.

DAWSON COUNTY BOYS 41, FANNIN COUNTY 32: Levi Whitmire notched 10 points to lead the Tigers on Friday in Blue Ridge.

Cameron Millholland and Lucas Pain each tallied nine points for Dawson County (15-4, 6-2 Region 7-AAA).

The Tigers play host to White County on Tuesday in Dawsonville.

WINDER-BARROW BOYS 54, FLOWERY BRANCH 38: Cody Dewing paced the Falcons with 10 points on Friday in Winder.

Flowery Branch (4-11) visits Jackson County today in Jefferson.

GREENE COUNTY BOYS 79, RIVERSIDE MILITARY 61: Avery Cagle fueled the Riverside offense with 24 points on Friday in Gainesville.

Brandon Mayers finished with 18 points for the Eagles, and Jake Weiner contributed nine points.

Riverside Military plays host to Jefferson on Tuesday.
