Ty Cockfield put up 21 points, six rebounds and five assists to lead the Johnson boys to a 75-45 win over Lumpkin County on Tuesday in Oakwood.

Roderick English recorded his third-straight double-double with 10 points and 15 rebounds for the Knights (13-3, 2-0 Region 8-AAAA), and James Hodges tallied a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Carter Cagle contributed 12 second-half points for Johnson.

For Lumpkin County, Evan Bafile had 15 points and Johnny Gilreath added 10.

The Knights visit Lanier at 8:30 p.m. Friday in Sugar Hill.

EAST HALL BOYS 88, BANKS COUNTY 87: Jacquen Hopkins hit the game-winning shot with 1.2 seconds left in the game for East Hall on Tuesday in Homer.

Hopkins finished with 18 points for the Vikings (8-8, 4-2 Region 7-AAA), while Kyvon Davenport led East Hall with 24 points. Caleb Holtzclaw added 12 points in the win.

The Vikings host Buford on Friday in Gainesville.

BANKS COUNTY GIRLS 54, EAST HALL 33: Lauren Carter knocked down five 3-pointers and finished with 19 points to lead the Lady Leopards (11-4, 3-3 Region 7-AAA) on Tuesday in Homer.

Kaitlyn Duncan notched 11 points for Banks County, which plays host to North Hall at 7 p.m. on Friday.

FLOWERY BRANCH GIRLS 35, LOGANVILLE 26: Breanna Locke notched 17 of the Lady Falcons’ 35 points on Tuesday in Loganville.

Kayla Tithof and Kylah Mize each added six for Flowery Branch (7-8, 5-4 Region 8-AAAAA).

LOGANVILLE BOYS 52, FLOWERY BRANCH 40: Taylor Bourdage recorded 11 points to lead the Falcons on Tuesday in Loganville.

Flowery Branch (4-11) visits Winder-Barrow on Friday.

CHESTATEE GIRLS 62, MADISON COUNTY 45: Kayla Watson powered the Lady War Eagles with 17 points on Tuesday in Danielsville.

Savanna Long recorded 13 points for Chestatee (14-3, 3-0 Region 8-AAAA), and Bridgette Kelly added 10.

The Lady War Eagles play host to Eastside at 7 p.m. Friday in Gainesville.

BUFORD GIRLS 53, NORTH HALL 43: Camille Anderson and Corey Staples each tallied 10 points to lead the Lady Wolves on Tuesday in Buford. Bree Horrocks added nine for Buford.

Sydney Cleveland paced North Hall (10-4, 3-2 Region 7-AAA) with a game-high 20 points, and Kensi Gillespie added nine points and six assists.

The Lady Trojans visit Banks County on Friday in Homer.

UNION COUNTY BOYS 67, RIVERSIDE MILITARY 60: Avery Cagle notched 24 points for the Eagles on Tuesday in Gainesville.

Jake Weiner added 14 for Riverside Military (6-5, 0-2 Region 8-AA), and Collin Pettell had six points and seven rebounds.

The Eagles face Greene County at 7 p.m. Friday in Gainesville.

WHITE COUNTY GIRLS 46, FANNIN COUNTY 38: Paige Thomas scored a game-high 20 points to lead the Lady Warriors on Tuesday in Cleveland.

Kaitlyn Gearing added five points and nine rebounds for White County (12-3, 3-2 Region 7-AAA), which plays host to West Hall on Friday.

Hope Cochran led Fannin County with 15 points.
