Jaeger/Perkins

Garland Nell Jaeger and Jordan Arend Perkins were united in marriage at 5 p.m. Oct. 5, 2013, at Chattahoochee County Club in Gainesville. The bride is the daughter of Robert Allan and Dale McElveen Jaeger of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Donovan John and Cynthia Fransen Perkins of Irvine, Calif.

The Rev. Mike Freeman performed the ceremony. Vocalist Caroline McClure, accompanied by guitarist Jackson Sparks, presented a program of wedding music. A string quartet performed during the ceremony. The bride, groom and two groomsmen also performed songs together.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride’s friends Mandi Bickes of Greenville, S.C., and Meg Sullivan of Easley, S.C., were maids of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride’s friends Annie Rossley of Destin, Fla., Hallie Dvorin of Austin, Texas, Jen Schweer of Marietta, Mary Valentine Jones of Saluda, N.C., Michelle Entine of Tomball, Texas, Hayley Loehr of San Luis Obispo, Calif., Emily Phillips of Columbia, S.C., and the bride’s cousin Leah Jaeger of Eugene, Ore.

The groom’s brother Ryan Perkins of Los Angeles, Calif., was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom’s friends Christopher Boldig of Oakland, Calif., Nick Herron of Brooklyn, N.Y., Jason Green of Tustin, Calif., Daniel Rich of Huntington Beach, Calif., Greg Kroleski of San Francisco, Calif., Mike Bargetto of Newport Beach, Calif., Trevor Erickson of Newport Beach, Calif., Jackson Sparks of Pendleton, S.C., and the groom’s cousin Eric Fransen of Marina Del Rey, Calif.

The bride wore a gold necklace from Sweden owned by her grandfather’s grandmother. The necklace was also worn previously by her mother, aunt and grandmother.

The groom’s parents gave a cocktails rehearsal dinner at the Jaeger Company in Gainesville and dinner at Luna’s Atrium space in Gainesville on the eve of the wedding.

The bride’s parents gave a reception at the Chattahoochee Country Club in Gainesville following the ceremony.

Following a “mini-moon” to Charleston, S.C., the couple reside in Balboa Island, Calif. The couple plan to honeymoon for two weeks at Christmas in France, Austria, Germany and Switzerland.
