J.B. Britte scored with just half of a second left in regulation for Lakeview Academy to earn the 54-53 win against Commerce on Tuesday in Gainesville.

Tre Gober led the Lions (4-1, 2-0 Region 8-A) with 15 points, and Tae Turner added 10.

For Commerce, Kirk Vaughan had 15 points, and J’Varius wood added 11.

Lakeview Academy faces Gainesville in the first round of the Lanierland Tournament on Saturday at Flowery Branch High.

LAKEVIEW ACADEMY GIRLS 65, COMMERCE 38: Schyler Miller notched 19 points to lead the Lady Lions on Tuesday in Gainesville.

Marlee Rochester added nine points for Lakeview Academy (3-2), and Danielle Morgan had eight.

For Commerce, Lily Mather led with 11 points and Sabrasha Jones had 10.

The Lady Lions face Flowery Branch in the first round of the Lanierland Tournament on Saturday at Flowery Branch High.

RIVERSIDE MILITARY 73, TOWNS COUNTY 36: Avery Cagle led the Eagles with 30 points on Tuesday in Gainesville.

Jake Weiner added 18 for Riverside Military (4-1), which plays host to White County at 4 p.m. Saturday in Gainesville.

NORTH HALL BOYS 74, BANKS COUNTY 71 (OT): Carson Heinen racked up 31 points for the Trojans on Tuesday in Gainesville.

Brock Wingo had 23 for North Hall (1-3, 1-1 Region 7-AAA), and Evan Easton added 11.

The Trojans face Chestatee in the first round of the Lanierland Tournament on Saturday at Flowery Branch High.

NORTH HALL GIRLS 62, BANKS COUNTY 55: The Lady Trojans improved to 4-0 on Tuesday in Gainesville, led by Sydney Cleveland’s 20 points.

Sadie Cleveland added 12 for North Hall (2-0 Region 7-AAA), and Katie Sayres had 10.

For Banks County, Taylor Kennedy led with 21 points, Casey Turner had 10 and Kaitlyn Duncan added another 10.

The Lady Trojans face West Hall in the first round of the Lanierland Tournament at 1 p.m. Saturday at Flowery Branch High.

CHESTATEE GIRLS 40, GILMER 37: Kayla Watson scored 15 points for the Lady War Eagles on Tuesday in Gainesville.

Bridgette Kelly tallied 14 for Chestatee (6-1) and Tyler Bennett had nine.

The Lady War Eagles face Pickens at 7 p.m. Friday in Gainesville.

GAINESVILLE GIRLS 59, HERITAGE 16: Paisley Lee recorded 11 points for the Lady Red Elephants on Tuesday in Gainesville.

Breana Fair, Bessie Winston and Sophia Jackson each added eight points for Gainesville (3-1, 3-1 Region 8-AAAAA), which visits Cedar Shoals at 7 p.m. Friday in Athens.

WHITE COUNTY GIRLS 57, WEST HALL 31: Paige Thomas paced White County (4-0) with 14 points and five steals on Tuesday in Oakwood.

Abby Craven added 10 points for the Lady Warriors, who play host to Union County at 6 p.m. Friday in Cleveland.

DAWSON COUNTY GIRLS 63, PICKENS 59: Sheyenne Seabolt and Karlie Bearden each tallied 14 points to lead the Lady Tigers on Tuesday in Jasper.

Ashley Parker added 12 points and nine rebounds for Dawson County (5-1, 1-1 Region 7-AAA), and Jordan Moore had 10.

LUMPKIN COUNTY BOYS 50, UNION COUNTY 38: The Indians came back from a 12 point deficit in the first half on Tuesday.

Daniel McCrary and Austin Holman each notched 13 points for Lumpkin County (5-1), and Johnny Gilreath had 10.

Hunter Hughes led Union County (3-2) with 11 points.

The Indians play host to Dawson County on Friday in Dahlonega.
