Children craft ornaments at history center

Children and their parents may create Christmas decorations Sunday at the Northeast Georgia History Center in Gainesville.

The activities are part of Family Day from 1-4 p.m. Sunday to celebrate a “green Christmas.” Visitors may craft up to five Christmas decorations and ornaments, using recycled or re-purposed items.

The program includes free photos with Santa Claus and a performance by the Enota Multiple Intelligences Academy show choir. Refreshments will be served at the center, 322 Academy St., Gainesville.
