Honey Banana Bread

4 cups flour
1 cup oil
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup honey
1 teaspoon salt
2 eggs, slightly beaten
3/4 cup walnuts
6 tablespoons buttermilk
2 cups mashed bananas

Combine all ingredients and bake in a greased loaf pan at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes. It yields 2 loaves.

Honey Mustard Pork Chops

4-ounce lean boneless pork chop
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard per pork chop
1 tablespoon honey per pork chop

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

In a small bowl, mix together 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard and 1 tablespoon honey.
Marinate a 4-ounce lean boneless pork chop in the honey-mustard mixture for 15 minutes. Then place pork chop in an oven-proof baking dish, leaving the marinade on the chop. Cook for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked all the way through.

Honey can also be used instead of sugar in any recipe. Just use 3/4 of a cup of honey in place of one cup of sugar.
