Hall County weather siren test set for 10 a.m. today

Hall County will test its weather sirens at about 10 a.m. today.

The sirens will sound for about three minutes. The system is tested silently every morning and audibly once every three months.

The test will not happen if there is a severe weather watch or warning in Hall.

Officials also will test the Hall County Citizens Alert System, for which residents can sign up to be notified about severe weather, fires, floods, toxic environmental issues and violent crimes. To sign up or learn more, go to
