Hall County gets $21.2 million to finance sewer infrastructure

As part of Gov. Sonny Perdue’s vision for sustainable economic development, Georgia Environmental Facilities Authority Executive Director Chris Clark announced Monday the approval of a Clean Water State Revolving Fund phase two loan of $21.2 million to assist in the financing of a new wastewater collection system in the Mulberry Creek Sewerage Area.

The project consists of gravity sewers, pump stations and force mains. The environmental facilities board of directors approved a phase one loan of $10 million on May 22, 2007.
