POSTED: September 19, 2013 1:00 a.m.

Braselton’s Movies Under the Stars’ series features “The Croods” on Saturday, Sept. 21, in the park in historic downtown.

The computer-animated, prehistoric comedy adventure introduces the world’s first modern family as they embark on a journey of a lifetime when their cave home is destroyed. Traveling across a spectacular landscape, they are rocked by generational clashes and seismic shifts as they discover a new world.

The 98-minute film is rated PG and features the voices of Nicholas Cage, Emma Stone and Ryan Reynolds.

Movies are free of charge at dusk. Moviegoers are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs. Vendors will offer treats, and the Braselton Lions Club presents baked goods.

Braselton Park is on Harrison Street.
