Georgia RB Gurley named SEC Offensive Player of the Week

Georgia sophomore tailback Todd Gurley has been named the Southeastern Conference Offensive Player of the Week following the Bulldogs’ 38-35 loss at No. 8 Clemson, according to a league announcement on Monday.

Gurley has also been named the National Running Back of the Week by the College Football Performance Awards.

Gurley, a 6-1, 232-pound native of Tarboro, N.C., ran for a career-high 154 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries (12. 8 avg.).
