Vaccinate, microchip pets at animal clinic

The 2013 Rabies & Wellness Clinic will be from 8:30-10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, at the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia at 845 W. Ridge Road in Gainesville.

The HSNEGA staff will provide low-cost rabies shots, annual vaccinations, microchipping for cats and dogs, and flea and tick control products at the clinic. Costs are $10 per rabies shot/vaccine, $25 per microchip and $15 for flea and tick preventative.

No appointments are needed; however, puppies and kittens must be 3 months old for rabies vaccinations. All pets must be in a carrier or securely leashed.

There are no residency restrictions for HSNEGA’s Wellness Clinics. Any pet owner may bring his or her animals for services.

All proceeds benefit the animals in the care of the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia.
