Steedley/Pulliam

Miss Lauren Patricia Steedley and Mr. Lewis Eugene Pulliam were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. June 15, 2013, at Harvest Baptist Tabernacle in Jonesboro. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Wellington Steedley of Jonesboro. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Lester Duncan of Gainesville and the late Mr. and Mrs. Julian Bud Steedley. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Howard Pulliam of Rutledge. He is the grandson of Mrs. Virginia Mitchell of Decatur and the late Mr. Archie Clyde Mitchell and the late Mr. Lester Eugene Pulliam and the late Mrs. Doris Edgar.

The Rev. Joe Arthur performed the ceremony. Pianist Mrs. Donna James, cellist Mr. Sam Lowder, and soloists Mr. Todd Hayes, Mrs. Melissa Grizzle and Mr. Tom Allen presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride’s friend Mrs. Chelsea Schiff of Newnan was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride’s sisters Mrs. Melissa Grizzle of Cumming and Miss Shannon Steedley of Jonesboro, the bride’s cousin Mrs. Ann Elizabeth Lazari of Augusta, and the bride’s friends Mrs. Danielle Marlow of Conyers, Miss Sarah Nelms of Tallulah Falls, and Mrs. Leah Register of Hampton. The groom’s niece Miss Jaelynn Pulliam of Loganville was the flower girl.

The groom’s father was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom’s brothers Mr. Shane Pulliam of Loganville and Mr. Nathan Pulliam of Rutledge, and the groom’s friends Mr. Jay Marlow of Conyers, Mr. Brandon Keller of Covington, Mr. Greg Womack of Covington and Mr. Brad Jones of Auburn. Unity rope bearers were the groom’s nephews Master Mitchell Pulliam of Rutledge, and Master Tristan Pulliam of Loganville.

Master Wills Pollard, the bride’s cousin, was the Bible bearer. Miss Robin Smith kept the guestbook. Miss Morgan Hendrix and Miss Hailey Pulliam distributed the programs.

The groom’s parents gave a rehearsal dinner at Harvest Baptist Tabernacle Fellowship Hall in Jonesboro on the eve of the wedding.

A dinner reception was held at Pinehurst Event Center in Stockbridge following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to the Western Caribbean and Edisto Beach, S.C., the couple will reside in McDonough.
