Firefighters battle house fire in northwest Hall

POSTED: July 15, 2013 10:34 a.m.

Firefighters worked Monday to extinguish a blaze at a home in northwest Hall County.

The call came in at 9:39 a.m. for the 3400 block of Cook Road off Davis Bridge Road, according to Hall County Fire

Chief David Kimbrell. The house was 80 percent involved when firefighters arrived. An investigator was sent to determine the cause.

Kimbrell said water was shuttled to the site from a nearby fire hydrant.

He said the cause remained undetermined Monday night and fire investigators and insurance investigators will work later this week to try to determine the cause.
