POSTED: July 14, 2013 12:07 a.m.

The Gainesville Police Department on Saturday confirmed the identities of the three people killed in an early Friday morning wreck on Ga. 365 at Howard Road.

The driver and passenger in a Ford-150 pickup that collided with a tractor-trailer both were killed, Police Cpl. Kevin Holbrook said.

Raymond McGowan, 36, of Gainesville, was driving the pickup, and Autumn Holton, 17, of Lula, was in the passenger seat.

Holton’s obituary states she was a student at East Hall High School.

Lula resident Robbin Chitwood, 57, also was killed. She was a passenger in a Ford Escape that collided with the overturned trailer in the northbound lane after the initial accident.

Six other people involved in the four-vehicle accident were hospitalized with injuries at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, but all were released Saturday, Holbrook said.

The police investigation into the crash is still ongoing, Holbrook said. No charges have yet been filed.
