Kangaroo Express operated by The Pantry Inc., recently announced its Florida and select Georgia and South Carolina stores have raised more than $453,000 for Give Kids The World Village, a 70-acre, nonprofit “storybook” village in central Florida that provides cost-free, weeklong vacations for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families.

During the course of six weeks, members of the Gainesville community rallied to help deserving children enjoy an unforgettable vacation experience by donating at the register of local Kangaroo Express convenience stores.

“Kangaroo Express’ continued support of Give Kids The World has helped deliver dream vacations to kids and parents who need it most,” said GKTW President Pamela Landwirth. “The generous donations of Kangaroo Express and its customers will help GKTW continue fulfilling its mission to provide happiness that inspires hope for children battling a life-threatening illness.”
