Rabies clinic set for 9 a.m. on Saturday

The Humane Society of Northeast Georgia is putting on a rabies clinic Saturday at the Gainesville Walmart.

Vaccines will be offered for $10. Pets can also get a microchip for $20, and a one-month supply of flea and tick medicine will be offered for $15.

The event runs 9-11 a.m. at the store at 400 Shallowford Road. No appointments are needed, but animals must be at least 3 months old for vaccinations. Animals must be in a carrier or on a leash.
