Local basketball players receive honors at Northeast Georgia All-Star game

The Hall County boys and girls All-Star teams defeated all teams from surrounding counties in the Northeast Georgia All-Star Classic basketball game on Tuesday.

North Hall’s Ebo Smith won the boys 3-point contest, while Madison County’s Elise Coberly won for the girls. Tyler Dominy of Dawson County won the slam dunk contest.

Flowery Branch’s Tavia Sykes was named the girls Most Valuable Player, and West Hall’s Tyswon Cantrell won the MVP award for the boys.
