The candlelight memorial was part of the Grady Young Foundation Recognition and Scholarship dinner Saturday at the Brenau Downtown Center. The dinner is the highlight of a weekend of activities that include a golf tournament, gospel music, a father-son brunch and concludes today with a worship service at Cross Plains Baptist Church. The Grady Young Foundation is a nonprofit group that serves the community, mainly by giving out scholarships and is celebrating 10 years of community service.
