The city of Gainesville has expanded its social media presence, adding a Facebook page. “We use YouTube and Vimeo for Channel 18, and Parks and Recreation and Main Street Gainesville have had great success with their Facebook pages,” said Catiel Felts, communications and tourism director. “This will allow us to publicize official government information, provide up to date information on road closures and other service related issues and create another forum for discussion.” |
