Buford advances to semifinals with win over Woodward Academy

Isaiah Williams and A.J. Davis each scored 15 as the Buford boys basketball team defeated Woodward Academy 60-53 in the Class AAA state quarterfinals on Wednesday in Buford.

Coby Durden added 13 points for the Wolves (26-6), and Kyle Doyle had 10.

Buford faces Savannah, a 61-57 winner against Washington County, at 8:30 p.m. Saturday in the Class AAA state semifinals at Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah.
