North Georgia softball stays at No. 4 in poll

The University of North Georgia softball team remained fourth in the most recent National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Top-25 Poll released Wednesday morning.

The top five remained unchanged as Valdosta State University holds onto its position atop the standings.

Southeastern Oklahoma State (15-4) remained second in the nation with West Texas A&M (10-1) third. Cal State Dominguez Hills is fifth with an 11-3 record.

The Saints went 3-1 in the Catawba College Invitational this past weekend with a 12-1 win over Northeast-10 Athletic Conference institution Le Moyne College, an 8-4 win against East Stroudsburg University, and an 11-5 win against Shippensburg University. The Saints fell to Catawba College 2-1.

North Georgia will next travel to the Mid-South Classic this weekend in Spartanburg, S.C.
