High school scoreboard: Feb. 26

Ricardo Gomez notched two goals and an assist for Gainesville in a 4-0 win against North Oconee on Tuesday in Gainesville.

Erik Romero recorded a goal and an assist, and Roman Arriaga tallied a goal for the Red Elephants (4-0-1). Omar Campos added two assists in the game.

Josh Aguilar recorded the shutout in goal with six saves.

Gainesville travels to McIntosh on Friday in Peachtree City.

BUFORD GIRLS 5, APALACHEE 1: Mia Edmond led the Lady Wolves with a pair of goals Tuesday in Winder.

Brie Smith had a goal and an assist, and Melissa Sullivan and Ceely Coker each added a goal for Buford (4-0).

McKenna Harwood, Kennedy Webster and Andria Schultz each tallied assists for the Lady Wolves.

Buford plays host to Jefferson on Friday in Buford.

NORTH HALL BOYS 2, FORSYTH CENTRAL 1: Enrique Castrejan and Junior Avalos scored the goals for North Hall on Tuesday in Cumming.

Chance Martin and Jake Carter notched the assists for North Hall (1-0-2).

Cameron Barnes got the win in net for the Trojans with five saves.

North Hall plays host to Riverside at 7 p.m. Monday in Gainesville.

NORTH HALL GIRLS 1, FORSYTH CENTRAL 1: Danielle Berry scored the lone goal for North Hall on Tuesday in Cumming.

Alden Powell was in goal for the Lady Trojans.

Baseball

NORTH HALL 10, CHESTATEE 0 (Monday): Colton Duttweiler led the way on the mound for the Trojans with a complete-game, four-hit, eight strike-out performance Monday in Gainesville.

Duttweiler also added two hits and an RBI. Andrew Smith had three hits for North Hall, while Zach Mize and Preston Graham each had two hits.

Lincoln Hewitt drove in two runs for the second straight game and Stephen Murray drove in the final two runs with a double.

For Chestatee, Griffin Moore collected two hits.

North Hall travels to North Gwinnett at 5:55 p.m. Monday in Sugar Hill. Chestatee plays host to Lakeview at 5:55 tonight in Gainesville.
