Kelda Gordon, 42, of Gainesville has been identified as the woman who was injured in a Feb. 15 wreck.

The woman was seriously injured when her SUV crossed the median and multiple lanes of Athens Highway, a parking lot and then slammed a delivery truck into a building.

Gordon was listed in stable condition at Atlanta Medical Center on Wednesday, said Sgt. Kevin Holbrook, Gainesville Police Department public information officer.

No charges have been filed, Holbrook said.

The cause is still unknown, he said. It has been attributed to a possible medical issue.

Holbrook said the Ford Escape the woman was driving was heading southbound at about noon when it crossed the median at high speed. It then crossed the northbound lanes and hit the box truck, which was delivering items to a supermarket, Los 3 Hermanos, near Lenox Drive.
