Local Golf: Kidd wins DPG match at Chicopee

Bob Kidd finished in first place in the Dedicated Players Group’s Friday match last week at Chicopee Woods Golf Course.

Henry Komoto and Jim Julian tied for second place, and Terrence Dale and Jerry Shell tied for third.

CMGA: The Chattahoochee Men’s Golf Association played a two best ball, aggregated net points game last Wednesday at the Chattahoochee Golf Course.

Bill Sutton, Larry Cohan and Wayne Nelson won the event, and Eddie Johnson, Don Sorrell and Bill Holleman came in second.

Closest to the pin winners were Nelson (No. 3), Karl Goellner (No. 5), Carlyle Cox (No. 12), and Johnson (No. 17).
