Kimberly Wheeler and the late Scotty Wheeler of Hoschton announce the engagement of their daughter Ashleigh O’Reilly to Matthew Roderic MacAskill, son of Roderic and Kathleen MacAskillof Randolph, V.T.The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Rayburn and JoAnn Pearson of Flowery Branch, Fran O’Reilly and the late Jerry O’Reilly of Atlanta and Jimmy and Pat Wheeler of Lawrenceville.

She is a 2004 graduate of Jackson County Comprehensive High School in Jefferson. She graduated in 2012 from Appalachian State University with a degree in recreation management. She is employed as a Communications and Marketing Director at The Bay Pointe Club in Onset, Mass.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Bob Day and the late Margaret Day of Randolph, V.T., and Angus MacAskill and the late Deborah MacAskill of Brookfield, V.T.

He is a 2006 graduate of Randolph High School in Randolph, V.T. He graduated in 2008 from Pennsylvania State University with a degree in golf course turfgrass management. He is employed as an Assistant Superintendent by Acushnet Company in Acushnet, Mass.

The couple plan to wed July 6, 2013, in Trade, Tenn.
