Hall Chamber seeks to honor farmers, other ag lovers

The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for its annual agribusiness awards.

The award program is done in partnership with the Hall County Cooperative Extension to honor the agricultural community. Awards are as follows:

Friend of Agribusiness: Someone who has consistently promoted agribusiness and agriculture in Hall County.

Outstanding Agribusiness: Business in operation for at least five years that demonstrates significant presence and progress in the area.

Farmer of the Year: Someone who has made significant contributions to agribusiness and community services.

Ag Hall of Fame: Someone, living or deceased, who made sustained contributions to Hall County agriculture and agribusiness.

Nominations will be accepted through March 8. The awards will be held during a breakfast at 7:30 a.m. March 26 at the East Hall Community Center.
