Savannah Blalock recorded 19 points for Banks County to lead the Lady Leopards to a 51-46 win against West Hall on Monday in Oakwood.
Kaitlyn Duncan added 12 points for Banks County (16-8, 7-5 Region 7-AAA).
For West Hall, Kaelyn Gattis and Maia Booker each scored 15 points. Gattis was a perfect 7-of-7 from the free throw line for the second game in a row. Jensen Hall added 14 for the Lady Spartans (9-14, 3-9 Region 7-AAA).
West Hall plays host to Buford in their annual “Pink Out” game at 6 tonight in Oakwood, while Banks County plays host to East Hall on Friday in Homer.
WEST HALL BOYS 84, BANKS COUNTY 55: Tyswon Cantrell paced West Hall with 19 points on Monday in Oakwood.
Jesse Van Parys added 11 points for the Spartans (10-13, 6-6 Region 7-AAA), and Mason Gaines and Esteban Ulloa each tallied 10.
The Leopards had three players score in double-figures but couldn’t overcome the Spartans. Austin Venable tallied 16 points, Will Ledford scored 14, and Chase Barnett added 12 for Banks County (5-19, 1-12 Region 7-AAA), which plays host to East Hall on Friday in Homer.
West Hall plays host to Buford at 7:30 tonight in Oakwood.
