The Georgia Tech baseball team is ranked No. 16 in the Baseball America preseason Top 25.

Baseball America’s top five preseason teams are No. 1 North Carolina, No. 2 Vanderbilt, No. 3 Arkansas, No. 4 Louisville and No. 5 Mississippi State.

The Yellow Jackets have already been ranked No. 17 by Collegiate Baseball and No. 12 by Perfect Game.

Georgia Tech, which won the ACC Championship last season, opens the 2013 season against Akron on Feb. 15 at Russ Chandler Stadium in Atlanta.
