Young Harris College men’s basketball player Frank Adams has been named the Peach Belt Conference Player of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday.

Adams becomes the first Young Harris men’s basketball player to ever be named a PBC Player of the Week after averaging 23.7 points and 6.3 rebounds in three wins for the Mountain Lions. He tallied 15 points and 12 rebounds against Columbus State University last Wednesday, before scoring a career-high and school-record tying 38 points in a win over the University of South Carolina-Aiken on Saturday.

Already the all-time leading scorer at Young Harris with 1,394 points, Adams moved into third in the conference in scoring (19.8 ppg) for the season.
