While the shootings in the school in Connecticut were a terrible catastrophe, the liberal news media is silent on the thousands of abortions preformed every year in this country. I guess those babies don’t count.

Oh yes, we have a local Democratic state senator, Vincent Fort in Atlanta, wanting more stringent background checks on those who want to own guns, and I certainly agree. However, Mr. Fort stated, “If we are concerned about criminals getting their hands on guns, we have to do something about the background check.”

Evidently, he is convinced that criminals will automatically come in and fill out the paperwork and get a background check in order to buy a gun. Tra la la, hee hee.
