I wasn’t going to weigh in on this one, but I can’t help myself. There are too many reasonable people who are buying into the liberal lexicon.

The federal government, run by liberals that are protected by spineless Republicans, is waging an all-out war on freedom. They have taken advantage of a tragic circumstance to promote their failure of an agenda.

This latest assault on our constitutionally guaranteed freedoms is not about people killing with guns; it’s about doing away with any opposition to their egotistical authority. Hitler did it, Stalin did it, Mao did it, Pol Pot did it. Millions were slaughtered by rogue governments, usually by guns, after the populace was disarmed.

Here are some facts that are easily verifiable: More people die of tobacco-related illnesses in this country than by guns. More people die on our roads than by guns. In fact, more people are beaten to death with baseball bats and other hand-held weapons than with guns.

But I want to remind everyone of the most tragic statistic of all: More people are killed in abortion clinics than any of the other means mentioned, by far. Who is forcing taxpayers to fund that form of murder? You guessed it, the federal government.

Are you still just sitting there? Get off of your backside and get on your knees. Let’s turn our eyes back to our Creator and God and let Him back into our lives. After all, things were a lot better in this country when we did just that.
