A suspicious incident at a gas station Tuesday led to gun and drug charges.
Deputies investigating an incident at Athens Highway and Roy Parks Road discovered a man was concealing a handgun, said Hall County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Sgt. Stephen Wilbanks. After a struggle, a deputy gained control of the gun until backup units arrived.
Jeremy Peck, 33, was charged with possession of a concealed weapon, possession of methamphetamine, possession of prescription drugs not in original container and felony obstruction of officers, Wilbanks said. Peck was taken to the Hall County Jail.
