Gun safety can be an issue for people who are against guns. They don’t own one, and that’s fine, but the media shouldn’t scare them into never owning one.
You can bet that someone who is afraid of a gun will not go and buy one. I know because my wife was afraid of guns until she was educated about them, and now she owns one and is a trained CCP holder.
My point is that education and common sense are important. A bad person can buy a gun and use it, but a good person with a gun and training can stop the bad person from using his gun in a crime.
I say buy your wife, your husband and children of age a firearm, and train them in safety and how to use it.
