Fire damages Gainesville car shop |

A fire Friday night damaged SpeeDee Oil Change and Tune Up at 101 Hillcrest Drive, Gainesville. Gainesville Fire Chief Jerome Yarbrough said approximately 30 percent of the building was damaged, including damage to the roof, office area and bathroom. The service bays were not damaged. No injuries were reported. The business was already closed for the evening at the time of the fire. The cause of the fire is still being investigated, according to Yarbrough. |
