Fire strikes Smallwood Road home |

Hall County firefighters were called to a house fire on Smallwood Road late Wednesday afternoon, authorities said. Firefighters found heavy smoke coming from a two-story home on the 2500 block of Smallwood, Hall County Fire Chief and Emergency Services Director David Kimbrell said. He said a next-door neighbor reported the fire. No one was at home at the time of the fire. A fire investigator was working to determine the cause and estimate damage, Kimbrell said.
