I read the full text of President Barack Obama’s address at the vigil for Sandy Hook shooting victims, the little children and the teachers in Newtown, Conn. The speech was beautifully written and I’m sure heartfelt by the president who delivered it and brought comfort to all of us who have been affected by this.
As I read the text again, I saw with very little editing how this speech by our president would be so beautiful to be delivered at the March for Life in Washington, D.C., this January, just days after his re-inauguration.
If only the most vulnerable individuals in our American society, the unborn children, had such a champion in our president, America might be able to recapture our greatness in leading the world back to a time of peace and goodwill among all men.
