Makes two gallons of chili
1 gallon can of Bush’s chili beans
2 gallon pot
5 pounds ground beef
5 pounds of jalapeno bacon, or cook bacon in jalapeno juice
1 gallon can of crushed tomatoes
1 gallon can of tomato sauce
Two 16 ounce cans of tomato paste
2 whole onions "cut up nice and squared"
Chili powder to taste
Garlic powder to taste
Brown meat adding chili powder and garlic powder to taste, Sloan recommends 4 tablespoons of chili powder.
Cook bacon.
Add jalapeno juice and onions to beef and bacon.
Once they’re done, add a gallon can of Bush’s chili beans.
After all that is simmered and cooked down, add tomato products.
Remember to stir and simmer, otherwise the tomatoes will burn.
Sit for about an hour and continue stirring.
Top with hot sauce.
