Ms. Kendley Gayle Martin and Mr. John Marshall Heffner Jr. were united in marriage at 6 p.m. Aug. 4, 2012, at Peachtree Christian Church in Atlanta. The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Johnny Martin of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John M. Heffner Sr. of Lawrenceville.

The Rev. James Bell performed the ceremony. Soloist Ms. Martha Bell and organist Mr. Herbert Buffington presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride’s twin sister Mrs. Leslie Williams of Gainesville was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride’s friends Miss Ryan Avery of Atlanta, Miss Sarah Caven of Atlanta, Mrs. Whitney Worthington of Atlanta, Mrs. Kari Girardot of Hoschton, Mrs. Rachel Wiley of Marietta, bride’s cousins Miss Catherine Summerlin of Altanta and Mrs. Katie Manire of Atlanta. The bride’s niece Miss Claralane Williams was the flower girl.

The groom’s father was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom’s brother Mr. Taylor Heffner of Lawrenceville, bride’s brother Mr. Taylor Martin of Dawsonville, groom’s friend Mr. Jeffrey Cheek of Altanta, Mr. Jason Conner of Alpharetta, Mr. Christopher Hanne of Suwanee, Mr. Luke Jeffers of Athens and Mr. T.J. Taylor of Lawrenceville.

Ushers were Mr. Jeff Williams, Mr. Daniel DeVito and Mr. Kyle DeVito.

Mrs. Judy Bardenwerper was the wedding coordinator. Mrs. Kasey Murphy kept the bride’s book.

The bride wore her grandmother’s ring.

The groom’s parents gave a rehearsal dinner at Maggiano’s Italian Restaurant in Atlanta on the eve of the wedding.

The bride’s parents gave a reception at The Wimbish House in Atlanta following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to Costa Rica, the couple reside in Dacula.
